UHURU complements the mind of the reader who is interested in gaining a multicultural perspective of society, or people of a distinct culture, race or religion often shunned or under-represented in mainstream media. The UHURU reader is socially conscious of their surroundings and willing to support a movement, or better yet, start one of their own to promote change and justice not only for their people but for all.

UHURU Magazine can be counted on to provide a fresh, intelligent, and sophisticated outlook on topics such as culture, politics, art, music, food, love and health from a multicultural perspective.
