The equipment is available in room 001, Hamilton Hall, for any student currently enrolled in a JLMC course that requires use of the equipment. Please see our terms and conditions listed below. QuestionsContact: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Terms and ConditionsGreenlee School equipment is available for check-out to students who are currently registered for a Greenlee School course requiring the use of the said equipment and Greenlee faculty members only. The requestor should make all other equipment rental requests to the Communications Building or Durham. It is important to note that this policy is strictly in place to allow all students access to equipment to enable them to complete their projects. The equipment is not for rent or check-out to anyone for profit or external use apart from class use. The equipment is not available for use by student groups, clubs or for internships without prior approval of the School Director who, at his/her discretion, may consult with the Director’s Advisory Committee. Equipment may be checked-out for TWO consecutive days at a time. All equipment is due at or before 11 a.m. on the assigned return date. Equipment checked-out on Thursday or Friday is due back on the following Monday at or before 11 a.m. Failure to return equipment on time will result in a warning. Each person will receive only one warning before his/her right to reserve and use equipment is waived. The same policy applies to equipment condition. If the equipment is not returned in the same condition as checked-out in, the person will only get one warning. This includes but is not limited to: dirt, dust or moisture in and around equipment, cables not wrapped properly, items not secure in case, etc. If the equipment is damaged or missing, repair or replacement fees will be applied to the person’s U-Bill. Equipment is loaned AT THE USER’S RISK. The Greenlee School does not guarantee results and assumes no liability of any kind for video or audio tapes/memory cards. The Greenlee School will not be responsible for video/audio tapes, memory cards, or personal property left inside equipment or cases. All equipment check-outs requires that a student show their ID and be listed on the current course listings approved for equipment use. The person who signs this form is responsible for costs of replacement or repair due to any damage to the equipment. Any missing equipment will be billed to the student’s U-Bill at the replacement cost. The student will be notified via e-mail of any charges incurred. Last updated: 2008-10-25 |
