Ceiling Projector Problems

Check the mode of the projector. Flip through the modes of the projector to find the proper source. If you know you have it on the correct mode and no picture is displayed, check the computer connected to the projector to see if it is set to output from the vga port. For laptops, there is typically a function key, FN, that when pressed simultaneously with the monitor selector key which, switches monitor output settings. The monitor selector key looks like a open square with a dash then a filled in square or it could say CRT/LCD. Switch the computer output and the mode of the projector to find the proper selection combination.

If neither of these suggestions work, turn the projector off with the manual switch located in the back of the projector, then turn it back on. The projector has a cool down mode so the projector may take some time starting back up. You may also have to restart the computer.
