Mentorship:

Jeff has agreed to serve as a Faculty Mentor to an ISU student in the McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program. The McNair program is a federal effort to encourage minority and low-income, first generation college students to pursue doctoral study. Jeff is doing this mentorship because he was "a first-generation college student who earned a doctorate and came from a low income background myself. " We applaud that commitment!
