According to Ron Sylvester, the regional president, the chapter did an excellent job organizing the Region VII’s spring conference held last April.

“I'm especially pleased that the Leo Mores Chapter was honored like this because of the incredible amount of work that we did last year in putting on the regional conferences as well as First Amendment Day and Visions of Freedom,” stated Rashah McChesney, Leo Mores president.

Every year, the regional director chooses one chapter within their region that has provided their Society with exceptional service, their campus and the field of journalism as a whole.

Regional recipients included:

McChesney will attend the Atlanta convention on behalf of the Leo Mores Chapter.
