Photo by Bob Elbert Graduate students and faculty shared some of the many research efforts underway at the Greenlee School prior to Director Michael Bugeja’s presidential lecture. Arranged around the Memorial Union's South Ballroom, nine different research projects as well as student groups and programs greeted those arriving for Bugeja’s lecture. "We have been receiving a barrage of feedback from people, especially from University central, impressed about the range and the quality of the work depicted in your research posters," said Lulu Rodriguez, director of graduate education, science and risk. "Once again, graduate students have proven they are integral in projecting the image of the School as a research force." Research posters included much research done on an international scale, as well as using a range of methods: experiments, surveys, content analyses and qualitative studies. "I think our research expertise is better known to publics external to Iowa State as grad students attend national and international venues.," Rodriguez said. Graduate students Jenny Herring, Mingxue Lu, Sunny Ma, Matt Neznanski, and Xiang Zheng prepared posters for the display. Graduate faculty members Jeff Blevins, Joel Geske and Jay Newell also contributed research. |
