Mini ClubFest draws many students

ISUtv president Dave Sprau is ready to talk with prospective members.

More than 200 students attended the first Greenlee School Mini ClubFest Sept. 13-14, an event to promote membership in the School’s various organizations.

The event was the brainchild of the School’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Nine Greenlee organizations each signed up about 15 potential new members.

Students had the opportunity to learn more about the following organizations:

• Advertising Club
• Broadcast Club
• Ethos magazine
• Greenlee Web Team
• Iowa State Daily
• ISUtv
• National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA)
• Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
• Society of Professional Journalists

Plans are to begin planning this spring for next fall’s Mini ClubFest.
