Two tracks are available: one for students who desire specialized study in communication theory and research; the second for students who wish to develop or strengthen professional skills. A minor in journalism and mass communication is available to students taking major work in other departments. Majors plan programs of study in one of two concentrations: Communication as a Social Science Communication as a Professional Field	The Greenlee Reading Room is a great resource for students. Did you know? The Reading Room has a media room with a DVD player, VCR, telephone, typewriter and an audiocassette player.
