Major awards:

LAS Master Teacher, 2003-2004; AEJMC Top 2 paper award, Science Communication Interest Group, 2006; AEJMC Top 3 faculty paper award, Visual Communication Division, 2003; ACE Top research paper award, 2000.

Experience:

Worked as science and development communication consultant for the World Bank and the U.S. Agency for International Development in East and Southeast Asia, and as science information officer of the Philippine government body in charge of agriculture and natural resources, research and development.
