While editor of VISIONS, the magazine netted more than 80 regional and national awards, including best alumni magazine, District VI, Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

Experience:

Gibson works as a freelance magazine writer and editor. She has also worked in communications and media relations for Iowa State's Office of University Relations. Gibson is the founding editor of Iowa State's VISIONS magazine.
